Well, I dropped off my car today at Boost Logic. The turbo install process has begun. The motor still feels strong but has over 150K miles on it, so it's getting a rebuild. Nothing too fancy, but not quite stock. I'll be running a T67, and (unless AEM makes their unit plug-n-play soon) a TEC3.

I'm also putting in an in car computer, a CARputer. It uses a 7" touchscreen and the case will fit under the passenger seat. I haven't completed the install yet so there are still some hanging/visible wires. It has a 1 Gig CPU, with a 40 Gig HD, and a DVD/CDR. Here are some previews of the display where I currently have it mounted (not sure if I'll keep it there). I was in my garage and was reading BimmerForums.com and had it connected to the OBD2 port. I'm using an AutoEnginuity port reader and will hardwire it for a permanent install. It has the capability to browse the web, feed the stereo with MP3's, provide navigation/directions, and anything else that a standard home PC should be able to do.

Above is the one of the last NA pictures of my motor. The next pictures of this motor will be in pieces, and the next time it's in the engine bay it should be putting down over 600 RWHP.
